Thomas Oversberg joined Shurgard in 2020 as Finance Director and took up the role as CFO in 2025. His responsibilities include, besides Finance, Customer Acquisition & Revenue Optimization, as well as IT and Investor Relations.

Before joining Shurgard, Thomas enjoyed a long career in the retail sector, specifically at Delhaize Group and later Ahold Delhaize. He then served as the DACH CFO for Beter Bed Holding. His international career commenced with a Big 4 Audit company in the UK, before moving to Germany and subsequently Belgium, where he later worked at the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) as a project manager.

Thomas holds a degree in Business Administration from Germany and published a numerous financial publications in accounting journals in Germany.
