After you store your belongings in your storage unit, you can come back 7 days a week, 365 days a year, to pick something up or to store more goods.

It’s easy to reach our location in Amsterdam-Zuidoost by car. We are on Hoogoorddreef, near the Amsterdam ArenA and Holendrecht junction, so there is easy access from the A2 (exit Ouderkerk aan de Amstel) and the A9 (exit Amsterdam Zuidoost). You can also reach us directly from the A10 Amsterdam Ring Road. Take exit s111, Amsterdam Amstel, and drive towards the Amsterdam ArenA. Thanks to the wide streets in Bullewijk, it’s easy to drive to our store with a fully loaded trailer or van as well.

It’s easy to park your vehicle at our premises. From the car park, you can see the ground floor units with exterior access. If you rent one of these units, you can drive your car, trailer or van right up to your storage unit for even quicker loading and unloading.

Below are the only extra costs you may need to pay:
- One-off admin fee of € 20: this amount is only applicable when you sign your first contract with us. Returning customers don't need to pay this fee.
- Goods coverage: for your own protection, you’ll need to get goods coverage for the belongings that you store with us. You can opt for a customised goods coverage policy starting at € 16 per month.
- Lock: to guarantee no one else can access your storage unit, you will need to buy a lock designed to fit a Shurgard storage unit at € 14,90. You can re-use this lock when you rent another storage unit at any Shurgard facility.

With units on the ground floor, you don’t have to use a lift to transport your belongings from your vehicle to your storage unit. This is especially convenient if you need to frequently store heavy or bulky items.

You can rent your storage unit for an initial period of one month. After this period, your contract will automatically be renewed on a monthly basis.

Office opening hours is when the office is open if you want to sign your contract or talk to one of our Shurgard staff in person. Access hours is when you have access to your storage unit.

Pretty much anything for personal and business reasons, such as furniture, clothes, sports equipment, archives and stock. There is a list of prohibited items in our Terms and Conditions. They include food and illegal, explosive, or hazardous materials.
