Security measures in place
- You can only access Shurgard premise with a personal PIN code. This code is also required to operate the lift. In addition, customers are only given access to the floor that their storage unit is on.
- And only you hold the keys to the lock on your personal unit.
- All our Shurgard stores are equipped with 24-hour CCTV. Surveillance rounds are carried out several times a day and the camera images are also viewed every day.
- After the office is closed, our store is checked and secured by a certified security company.

- Our employees are standing by to help from Monday to Saturday, from 9.30 to 18.00.

Below are the only extra costs you may need to pay:
- One-off admin fee of € 20: this amount is only applicable when you sign your first contract with us. Returning customers don't need to pay this fee.
- Goods coverage: for your own protection, you’ll need to get goods coverage for the belongings that you store with us. You can opt for a customised goods coverage policy starting at € 16 per month.
- Lock: to guarantee no one else can access your storage unit, you will need to buy a lock designed to fit a Shurgard storage unit at € 14,90. You can re-use this lock when you rent another storage unit at any Shurgard facility.

With units on the ground floor, you don’t have to use a lift to transport your belongings from your vehicle to your storage unit. This is especially convenient if you need to frequently store heavy or bulky items.

You can rent your storage unit for an initial period of one month. After this period, your contract will automatically be renewed on a monthly basis.
