How do I get to Shurgard Veldhoven?
The Shurgard store on De Run is easy to reach by car from the Eindhoven ring and from De Hogt motorway junction.
- Our premises are adjacent to motorway exit 32 Veldhoven-Zuid on the N2. At the end of the exit, follow the signs for Veldhoven, then after 60 metres, turn left onto De Run.
- If you are coming from Veldhoven, take Kempenbaan.
- Drivers from Eindhoven should take Meerveldhovenseweg.
- By public transport: take bus 149, 150 or 174 to De Run bus stop, next door to our facility.
What’s the best way to store my stuff?
At Shurgard we make it as easy as possible for our customers to store their belongings:
- Drive your vehicle into the building using one of drive-ins. The first drive-in is for cars (with trailers) and smaller vans. Larger vans can use the second drive-in.
- Use our trolleys to take your belongings from your car to your unit.
- We have a spacious goods lift in each drive-in which you can use to take your stuff to and from the upper floors.
- There is plenty of parking space around our building and in the area.
If you’re not sure how to pack your belongings, talk to our staff. They will be happy to advise you and show you our range of moving boxes and storage materials.
Self-storage monitored by 24-hour CCTV
- Shurgard customers use a personal PIN code to access the building 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You also use the code to operate the lift, which will take you to your floor only, for additional security.
- Your individual storage room is locked with a cylindrical lock, for which only you have the key.
- Shurgard guards your valuable belongings with 24-hour CCTV monitoring.
- Outside our opening hours, a special team is standing by in case of incidents.

Below are the only extra costs you may need to pay:
- One-off admin fee of € 20: this amount is only applicable when you sign your first contract with us. Returning customers don't need to pay this fee.
- Goods coverage: for your own protection, you’ll need to get goods coverage for the belongings that you store with us. You can opt for a customised goods coverage policy starting at € 16 per month.
- Lock: to guarantee no one else can access your storage unit, you will need to buy a lock designed to fit a Shurgard storage unit at € 14,90. You can re-use this lock when you rent another storage unit at any Shurgard facility.

With units on the ground floor, you don’t have to use a lift to transport your belongings from your vehicle to your storage unit. This is especially convenient if you need to frequently store heavy or bulky items.

You can rent your storage unit for an initial period of one month. After this period, your contract will automatically be renewed on a monthly basis.

Upstairs storage units are often cheaper than those on the ground floor of the same size, so choose these if you don’t have a lot of bulky or heavy stuff to store, or if you don’t have to frequently move stuff in and out of your unit. At Shurgard you can still conveniently access your upstairs storage unit with the help of our spacious lifts and trolleys.

Pretty much anything for personal and business reasons, such as furniture, clothes, sports equipment, archives and stock. There is a list of prohibited items in our Terms and Conditions. They include food and illegal, explosive, or hazardous materials.

You are the only person who can access your storage unit. You may also authorise someone else to access your unit on your behalf.
