Easy loading, unloading and storage at Shurgard Diemen Sniep
Shurgard Diemen Sniep has two entrances: you can access the premises using our drive-in, or from the side of the building. Both entrances can be used by cars, vans and trucks. For trucks, the covered loading and unloading bay at the side of the building offers a convenient, dry area to unload.
Use one of our trolleys to transport your belongings to the goods lift, which will take you to your storage unit.
Outdoor storage units offer fast and efficient loading and unloading
Some of our ground floor storage units have their own access on the exterior of the building. This allows you to drive right up to your storage unit and park your car or van at your own unit. Ideal for quick frequent access or if you need to store large, unwieldy objects.
Flexible storage for your removal or renovation
For people who are not yet able to move into their new home, storing your household effects at Shurgard can be the ideal solution. And if you are renovating or decorating your home, you sometimes need to store furniture and other belongings so that they don’t get in the way.
In both cases, you want flexible access to your belongings. That's why you can access your storage unit 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Yes, Shurgard has several direct access units in Amsterdam. You can drive your vehicle directly to the door of your storage unit to make loading and unloading easy.

Below are the only extra costs you may need to pay:
- One-off admin fee of € 20: this amount is only applicable when you sign your first contract with us. Returning customers don't need to pay this fee.
- Goods coverage: for your own protection, you’ll need to get goods coverage for the belongings that you store with us. You can opt for a customised goods coverage policy starting at € 16 per month.
- Lock: to guarantee no one else can access your storage unit, you will need to buy a lock designed to fit a Shurgard storage unit at € 14,90. You can re-use this lock when you rent another storage unit at any Shurgard facility.

With units on the ground floor, you don’t have to use a lift to transport your belongings from your vehicle to your storage unit. This is especially convenient if you need to frequently store heavy or bulky items.

You can rent your storage unit for an initial period of one month. After this period, your contract will automatically be renewed on a monthly basis.

Office opening hours is when the office is open if you want to sign your contract or talk to one of our Shurgard staff in person. Access hours is when you have access to your storage unit.

No, you only start paying when you sign your rental contract.

Upstairs storage units are often cheaper than those on the ground floor of the same size, so choose these if you don’t have a lot of bulky or heavy stuff to store, or if you don’t have to frequently move stuff in and out of your unit. At Shurgard you can still conveniently access your upstairs storage unit with the help of our spacious lifts and trolleys.

Pretty much anything for personal and business reasons, such as furniture, clothes, sports equipment, archives and stock. There is a list of prohibited items in our Terms and Conditions. They include food and illegal, explosive, or hazardous materials.

You are the only person who can access your storage unit. You may also authorise someone else to access your unit on your behalf.
