- On the A16 motorway driving south over the Van Brienenoord bridge, take exit 24, Feijenoord. At the roundabout, drive towards de John F. Kennedylaan, then take an immediate right onto Stadionweg.
- By public transport: take tram 23 to our store: get off at the Noorderhelling tram stop, only a few minutes’ walk from the store.

Storing your belongings at Shurgard is easy and fast:
- You can enter the building with your vehicle using our drive-through. You can park and unload inside.
- We have 4 goods lifts that you can use to bring your stuffs upstairs.
- You can use one of our trolleys to transport your belongings to your storage unit.
You can also rent one of our direct access storage units where you can park in front of the door to load and unload.

Yes, Shurgard has several direct access units in Rotterdam. You can drive your vehicle directly to the door of your storage unit to make loading and unloading easy.

Below are the only extra costs you may need to pay:
- One-off admin fee of € 20: this amount is only applicable when you sign your first contract with us. Returning customers don't need to pay this fee.
- Goods coverage: for your own protection, you’ll need to get goods coverage for the belongings that you store with us. You can opt for a customised goods coverage policy starting at € 16 per month.
- Lock: to guarantee no one else can access your storage unit, you will need to buy a lock designed to fit a Shurgard storage unit at € 14,90. You can re-use this lock when you rent another storage unit at any Shurgard facility.

With units on the ground floor, you don’t have to use a lift to transport your belongings from your vehicle to your storage unit. This is especially convenient if you need to frequently store heavy or bulky items.

You can rent your storage unit for an initial period of one month. After this period, your contract will automatically be renewed on a monthly basis.

Office opening hours is when the office is open if you want to sign your contract or talk to one of our Shurgard staff in person. Access hours is when you have access to your storage unit.

No, you only start paying when you sign your rental contract.

Upstairs storage units are often cheaper than those on the ground floor of the same size, so choose these if you don’t have a lot of bulky or heavy stuff to store, or if you don’t have to frequently move stuff in and out of your unit. At Shurgard you can still conveniently access your upstairs storage unit with the help of our spacious lifts and trolleys.

Pretty much anything for personal and business reasons, such as furniture, clothes, sports equipment, archives and stock. There is a list of prohibited items in our Terms and Conditions. They include food and illegal, explosive, or hazardous materials.

You are the only person who can access your storage unit. You may also authorise someone else to access your unit on your behalf.
