I recently made an enquiry about renting a storage unit as I'm moving from the Netherlands to the UK and will need somewhere safe to store my belongings. I was very impressed with the facility ā it was clean, well-maintained, and gave me a great first impression. Sorina was incredibly friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Thanks to her excellent service, I've decided to come back in about two months to rent a unit. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had a fantastic experience at Shurgard Storage in Hemel Hempstead, thanks to Krae. From the moment I arrived, Krae went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at ease.
They personally walked me to my storage unit, explained everything clearly, and made what I expected to be a stressful process feel simple and straightforward. Nothing was too much trouble, and their friendly, professional attitude really stood out.

The team at Shurgard self storage Hemel Hempstead, are amazing. I have used my storage for nearly four years now and they always proffer solutions in any confusing or seemingly difficult situation.
Sorina, is always hands on with sorting out my issues, enquiries, and also intentional about sending me notifications when I have a delivery.

Just based on our move in - all of the team are really helpful and kind. Shout out to Sam who stopped his rounds to help me find a unit without batting an eyelid and to Krae who has been so helpful patient and understanding! We had to go up a size in the unit after sorting the move, he showed me around thoroughly and helped me get my head around future changes with the app etc. Thanks guys - you made the last stage of a big life change stress free.

I have used a fair few storage places over the years but the staff at this place are amazing, very friendly and professional and always happy to help out where they can, what a great team. The price is fair and the facilities are great. Could do with extended access times, 6pm is often too early for myself as I am used to unmanned sites

I had a great experience speaking with Samuel from Shurgard Hemel. He was very professional, friendly, and helpful, answering all my questions clearly and making the whole process easy.

We had a storage locker on long term hire and due to changes needed to vacate the locker early. The employees were extremely helpful friendly and made the whole process easy. Excellent customer service would definitely recommend

I have to say the information and service I received from Krai at Shurgard has been excellent, from my pop in visit with an enquiry to finally booking and moving my whole house contents in has been exceptional. The storage is very clean and logistically well organised, could improve with some light insight the units and extended access hours.
That said, the star of the experience is the team! Sam Chris and Sorina are just amazing people!

Sorina was absolutely fantastic! She helped us last minute to get a unit to store our sofa which didnāt fit. And today we finally ended our need for the unit and Sorina was at the desk yet again with a lovely smile and remembered me. She helped end so quickly and efficiently. The office and storage areas are very clean and the staff I dealt with was very polite, helpful and efficient, which is the gold standard compared to other places.

The whole place is exceptionally clean ā both outside and inside. You can really see that everything is well looked after and properly maintained. It always felt safe, organised and professional.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. The service is not only very friendly, but above all extremely professional. They genuinely care about their customers and are much more attentive and helpful than in other storage places Iāve used before. Anytime I needed assistance, they were quick to respond and always willing to help.
Compared to other self storage options in Hemel, this is definitely the best choice. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and well-managed storage facility.

We had an issue with getting our unit access details even though we'd payed and completed the identification process the previous day.
