Our storage facilities are surrounded by high, secure fencing to deter unauthorised access, adding an extra layer of security around our storage locations.
Access control
Both our entries and exits are controlled by gates that require a personal code to open.
Your personal access code will allow you to enter our storage facility and access your storage area.
You can use our Shurgard App to open gates, doors, and elevators with just one touch on your phone. This means you no longer need to manually enter your access code each time you visit.

24-hour CCTV surveillance
We use surveillance cameras to watch all entrances, exits, and other areas of our storage facilities to make sure your belongings are safe.
Our facilities are also equipped with alarms alerting us in case of any unauthorised access.
Lighting
Our lights are automatically turned on when they sense motion, ensuring you can see clearly at all times.
Personal and exclusive access to your storage unit
You are the only one with the key to your locked storage unit – even our staff does not have access.
Fire protection
We have smoke detectors to detect smoke early, alerting our monitoring centres and starting fire suppression to protect your belongings.
Our manual push buttons are located in convenient spots for customers to use in case of emergency.
We also have fire doors to prevent the spread of fire.
ID verification
We have an identity check process for new customers before granting them access to our facilities. That way we can make sure that only customers can access our facilities.
