The manager in Farmborough (Carol) was so helpful to us both yesterday when we moved storage units and today with the.necessary paperwork. She has an outstanding telephone manner and is a sure, welcoming presence at Shurgard. Thank you, Carol.

The storage is excellent here. Always feels very secure and the app is straightforward and easy to use. The units are a good size and the under cover loading bay makes unloading great during winter months. We had items in storage for several months and no issues. Everything in the same condition as it went in. . For the few times I needed to speak to staff they are very friendly and helpful. I couldn't fault the service and definitely will only use Shurgard for my future storage needs.

Easy to access, at a really good price and available until late which I found very few other storage locations have. It's also clean and they provide a lock too.

Arranging a transfer to a new unit was quick and easy and Carol was very helpful in showing me the unit size. Paperwork was completed quickly and all set to move in a few days.

Very happy with the service, Daniel from customer service guided me trough registration, offered a good size storage, perfect for my needs. I love the upgrade to Bluetooth locks and all mobile online dealing with the renting.

**UPDATE** I have since been contacted by Shurgard. Kia the Manager of the West District called me to ask about the situation, after explaining Kia apologised and offered a resolution. Kia was very professional and understood my frustration. He said they were going to look at their training procedure and retrain the individuals involved. They are also arranging a refund for the payment taken for April. I am very happy that Shurgard & Kia took the time to to resolve my issue and make it right as that does not often happen. So I am impressed by that, thank you. Once again a happy customer.**
Will never use them again or recommend. Long story short, moved my items out on the 29th March apart from one item. Asked to extend for 10 days (as I was told by Shurgard I could do this) as one item left in there but later on that same day said I had managed to move that one item out. Took photos and removed the lock and retained. Emailed them the photos etc. Only find out that they have taken my £250 payment for April on the 2nd of April. I rang the branch and was told "I can assure you there is no way you are getting a refund", I also was told I could not escalate this issue and that there had been a change in the polices on the 22nd March PLUS I was also told "No client was emailed about this". Spoke to head office and was also told "No refund was to be given". So now I am out of pocket of £250!!! Paying for an empty storage unit. Feel very frustrated and like I have been robbed of my money...Never again will I use this unethical company!!!

Richard and his colleague have been amazing. Having to make multiple move in changes and explaining the whole process fully from start to end, the team have been great.
