Cheapest storage option in Pompey! After being let down by a competitor (adding extra costs after the initial "quote"), the difference in attitude with Shurgard was very refreshing. Kerry was great at answering our queries, and the signup process was seamless.

Very useful and convenient location, easy to access using the app but also secure. Staff were friendly and helpful. We used for moving house, allowed us to declutter ready for house viewings. Definitely would use again!

I had such a wonderful experience at Shurgard. As a young adult, things like this can feel a bit daunting and confusing at first, but the lovely lady ( Carmen) who helped me instantly put me at ease. She explained everything so clearly and kindly, and encouraged me to ask any questions, no matter how small they might have seemed. I left feeling reassured and genuinely cared for.
A few days later, another equally lovely lady called to check in and see how I was getting on. She even reminded me of a few things I still needed to do, which was such a huge help because life can get overwhelming sometimes.( couldn’t remember her name but she was so lovely on the phone)
It really stood out to me that both of them truly wanted to help, not just take my money. That level of care is rare, and it meant a lot. I’d happily recommend Shurgard to anyone I know, and I’m so grateful to have been helped by such kind and thoughtful people.

Have been using this storage facility for the last year. It’s easy to access safe and clean The staff especially Kerry are super friendly and really helpful. I had to rearrange my unit and contents to get to inaccessible items and was able to move to the larger unit next door. No fuss just efficient. I’ve been helped to navigate the new app and security as well although I really hope staff are kept on site ans they are an invaluable resource.
