I’ve had an extremely positive experience with Shurgard, and a huge part of that is down to Lynn and Emma.
They are both immensely friendly, positive and genuinely helpful. From the very beginning, they made the booking process incredibly easy, clearly explained how everything worked, and took the time to show me around, including the lifts, trolleys and access arrangements.
They also clearly know their stuff! They recommended a particular size storage unit based on what I needed. I decided to ignore their advice and go for a bigger one… only to later downgrade to the exact size they had recommended in the first place!
That says a lot about their experience and how well they understand what customers actually need. There was never any pressure to take a larger unit — just sensible, knowledgeable advice.
Lynn and Emma are an absolute credit to Shurgard. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable and always happy to help. They’ve made the whole experience straightforward and genuinely pleasant. Highly recommended!

WE have used Shurgard in the past and found the service to be excellent and the units clean and tidy. So when we needed another unit recently Shurgard was the place to go to. On this occassion we meet Emma who greeted us with a warm and friendly welcome whenever we were at Shurgard. Emma is very efficient helpful and friendly a real asset to the company. The prices for the units are very reasonable and would recommend using Shurgard

Since February 2025 my life has been contained in a 55sqft unit here in Horsham while my work took me overseas. The thing is, how do you review a storage business. You show up, pay some money, put your stuff in a unit and disappear until you need it again. Its actually pretty hard for these businesses to differentiate and do so mainly on price which is relative to their location.
Or to put it another way . . . the only way they can normally compete is on who is cheapest.
Yet cheapest is not always best. A fair price for assurance of ones personal belongings is worth more than a few pounds here and there. So for me its mainly about the value for money.
And at Horsham where the lovely Lynn and Emma meet you and take you through the quite straight forward journey of getting set up, also make it a pleasant one. There is something nice about knowing this lovely team are there day in, day out, looking after the facility where my belongings are kept safe.
It is easy to compare prices these days, yet Lynn and Emma are what give this company a solid 5 stars from me.

Talked me through all of the options with no pressure to make sure that the option i took was the right one for me. Overall a great experience and I will be using Shurgard for quite some time moving forward and would recommend anyone looking for storage to absolutely speak with Mike
