The rental price of a storage unit depends on several factors:

• The size of the storage unit: our units range from 1 to 30 m². Generally, the larger the unit, the lower the price per square metre. Use our Size Help page to determine the storage unit size you need.
• The location of the facility: units located further away from city centres are usually more affordable.
• The unit features: units with easier access (like direct vehicle access) tend to be more expensive. If you're happy using a lift or choosing a unit with an irregular shape (value unit), you can save costs.

Yes, a few additional costs may apply depending on how you rent and what you need:

• One-off admin fee: there is no fee if you rent on our website. Else, a one-time £20 fee applies when signing your first contract. Returning customers don’t pay this fee again.
• Lock: a sealed lock costs £14.90 and ensures only you can lock your unit. If you already have a suitable lock, there's no need to buy a new one.
• Insurance: insurance is required for all customers. The premium depends on the value of your stored goods, with premiums starting from £4 a week

No, the administration fee is not recurring. It's a one-time charge of £20 for new customers who rent in-store or over the phone.

If you rent your storage unit online, the administration fee is completely waived.

No, unlike many other storage companies, we don’t ask for a deposit when you reserve or rent a storage unit.
